At Fairyblossom, a Knight is a lower order of nobility which may be granted by joint agreement between the King and Queen.
Symbols of Knighthood
Knights are the only individuals who are allowed to wear a white welt, and/or an unadorned chain.
Responsibilities of Knighthood
Knighthood is granted for outstanding leadership or service to realm. Once an individual has been elevated to Knight: they are expected to continue to serve the organization to the best of their abilities, and to be an example for others to follow.
Retirement
Knighthood is not a permanent position. A Knight of the Realm is expected to continuously embody honor, chivalry, and virtue in their conduct, and to contribute to Fairyblossom by volunteering, organizing, etc. Knights who fail to live up to this high standard of excellence, or who choose to retire, may be un-belted.
